Welcome new employees Tayler & Michael

BarberMcMurry welcomes our two newest employees — Tayler Johnston, WELL AP, as an interior designer, and Michael Travis as an architecture student.

Tayler is a graduate of the University of Tennessee College of Architecture + Design and is a WELL Accredited Professional. WELL is a sustainable design framework for improving health and human experience. With a background in customer service in the hospitality industry, Tayler brings a human-centric focus to her designs. Her prior interior design experience has included churches, vet clinics, middle and high schools, colleges and universities, and commercial office spaces.

Michael is a student at the University of Tennessee College of Architecture + Design, expecting to graduate in 2021. He is on the Dean's List and won first prize in the HBG International Design Competition in 2019 for his work "The Drift of Vallisaari." Last summer, Michael spent three months researching and documenting the Muuratsalo Experimental House for the Alvar Aalto Foundation.
