Covenant Health Corporate Headquarters

For Covenant Health, BarberMcMurry designed a new corporate headquarters on the campus of the system’s Fort Sanders West campus. 

The office building honors the existing campus buildings in tone while injecting modern materials and elements. The building houses office space for Covenant’s executive leadership team. Multiple meeting spaces accommodate groups as small as eight or as large as fifty, while incorporating digital displays and remote meeting technology. A full-service catering kitchen supports various functions. 

The design encourages wellness in varied ways — from sit/stand desks at every workstation to visual and physical access to campus walking trails, encouraging occupants to walk the beautiful campus. The connection to the outdoors is further defined by careful placement of exterior windows in all occupied spaces, as well as details that create the impression of continuous surfaces from the exterior to the interior.
