The Worsham house is one of the most elaborate of the firm’s early 20th century houses. The walls are faced with honey colored field stone and the roof is of slate. The detail of doorway, windows, and chimneys is particularly rich and is closely patterned on examples of the English Tudor period. The massive, sculptural form of the chimney facing the street is particularly impressive as is the curving plan, a form used several times by Barber.
This house remains an impressive Knoxville landmark to this day.
