Challenge: Design a state-of-the-art sports and entertainment complex for a regional minor league baseball team.

Solution: The Sevier County Multi-Purpose Stadium serves as home for the Smokies AA minor league baseball team; an affiliate of the Chicago Cubs The stadium serves as a venue for other major events in east Tennessee. Located adjacent to Interstate 40, the new 6,000-seat stadium includes the Sevier County Welcome Center, restaurant, concessions, gift shop, team offices, and 16 luxury skyboxes. Seating can be expanded to accommodate 10,000 visitors for concerts and civic events.

The stadium was completed on a fast-track basis with the design and construction taking place within an one-year period.
