Challenge: Renovate an existing community center to expand space for activities & provide a new front door.
Solution: By adding on to the existing wings of the building, we are able double the existing gymnasium and add exercise studios. Also, by carefully moving inexpensive spaces, we were able to completely update and double the existing locker room capacity. We were also able to provide the client with a new front door and overall updated image for the community center - the architectural expression of which more closely relating to the level of fun, energy, and activity occurring inside the building.
