Challenge: Renovate a neglected and run down strip shopping center into an upscale retail destination.
Solution: A complete face lift of the entire development. We proposed utilizing new, more durable, materials for the building facades and organizing those material choices to create a unique identity for the development. This unique identity was critical for the success of the design as this strip center was in the heart of a saturated retail area and needed an "edge" to set it apart. We also modified the forms within the development to add vertical prominence thus highlighting important entries into high end retail tenants.
